COMPOSING FRAGMENTS

“Composing Fragments” is a series in which I work with existing canvases, deliberately cutting them up and reassembling them. The focus is on the moment of fragmentation – not as destruction, but as a starting point for something new.

The act of assembling the pieces creates tensions, fractures, and new connections. This process is precisely what interests me: relinquishing control, rearranging, and developing a coherent overall composition from individual parts. The visible seams are deliberately preserved – they reveal the creative process and become a central design element themselves.
